Cotas para as mulheres nas eleições será tema de uma live no próximo dia 10

No dia 10 de maio ocorrerá uma live sobre as “cotas para mulheres nas eleições”. Participarão da live a Senadora Simone Tebet, a Deputada Federal Flávia Moraes, a Desembargadora Sandra Theodoro e a Promotora de Justiça Villis Marra.
Só em Goiás 11 partidos políticos teriam descumprido a lei eleitoral (art. 10, § 3º da Lei nº 9.504/97) no pleito de 2020.
Tramitam na Justiça Eleitoral, pelo menos 3 (três) ações judiciais questionando o descumprimento da lei de cotas.
A Promotora Villis Marra afirmou que “a lei de cotas para mulheres é muito importante, mas que deve ser cumprida, para dar efetividade e visibilidade as candidaturas femininas. Não podemos aceitar o seu descumprimento. Não podemos desistir dessa conquista. A lei não pode ser letra morta, que está na legislação, mas é descumprida sem que se aplique a sanção devida, que no caso é a cassação da chapa”, disse Villis.
