MP executa acordo com a prefeitura e a SAE de Catalão para sanar irregularidades em loteamento

O Ministério Público de Goiás (MP-GO) está pedindo na Justiça a execução de termo de ajustamento de conduta firmado com a prefeitura e a Superintendência Municipal de Água e Esgoto de Catalão (SAE) em 2014. O acordo buscava sanar problemas relacionados à degradação ambiental, decorrente do descarte irregular de resíduos de construção civil em área verde do Loteamento Maria Amélia, sem autorização do órgão ambiental competente, ocorrido em 2013.

Pelo documento foi estabelecida uma série de medidas mitigadoras. No mesmo ano, foi assinado um aditivo estabelecendo outras obrigações à SAE, relacionadas à conclusão da instalação da bateria de fossas sépticas e sumidouros para recebimento do esgotamento sanitário do conjunto habitacional construído no Loteamento Maria Amélia II. Também caberia à superintendência regularizar e interligar, no prazo de um ano, a rede de esgoto do loteamento ao sistema sanitário da cidade.

Assim, o promotor de Justiça Roni Alvacir Vargas, titular da 3ª Promotoria de Justiça de Catalão, requereu judicialmente a citação do representante da SAE para que cumpra o estabelecido no aditivo ao termo de ajustamento, na parte de suas obrigações.
O promotor pediu ainda, caso a obrigação prevista não seja satisfeita no prazo designado em juízo, que seja prestada por terceiro às custas da SAE.
